When I went to Expo, my old neighbors baby sat Prada. I sent her small bed with. And she promptly commandeered their bigger dogs bed for herself so he could fend for himself, in her bed.

I hope you took note Lloyd, Prada looks very happy with the bigger bed

The small one is her traveling bed. She has a boat behind the counter here.

Friday was Jack's Birthday. My wife bought a cake for all four of our dogs to enjoy.
Jack has learned sit and wait, he did very well with such a treat.

I have a pair of Thai Ridgebacks and plan to breed from them next year when she is over 2, anyway when she is on heat we have to separate them which is a nightmare because he goes absolutely ballistic to get to her so unfortunately we have to cage her. We have a system of letting them out in the back garden separately but when he is out she is in walking about freely, these dogs are known for jumping which he does at the back door trying to get in to her. This morning in damp cold Wales I saw this on the back door

After losing Dad this year, Mum and her freak rat Bella are living with me.
My dog Kumo usually hates other dogs but accepts the little freak.
    He is a good boy.

Would you guys have this boy fixed? He has a appointment Thursday but I feel terrible doing it. He doesn’t have papers, they mean nothing to me, but he is such a good looking guy I hate to do it. I never had any intent on breeding him though. Are they happier when fixed?

He needs to be neutered 1000% because if he isnt he stand a high risk of getting testicular cancer. You will be doing him a big favor trust me. Also he will be fine. Dogs really bounce back quickly from surgeries and injuries.

Neutered = no unauthorized procreation. AKAno puppy support

BOXERS RULE! It's actually done for health reasons and keeps them more chill. I know it's something you feel guilty about doing it... Boxers are also NUTS we are on our 3rd... They say it calms them down, I say hardly.

    #1894 5 months ago

He is pretty chill right now. It’s hard work tearing up house plants and all my wife’s pillows. He is so unlike my first one who was never a terror and always minded. This guy sees a rabbit or squirrel and he is gone. I lost him on the green belt two weeks ago chasing a rabbit. I couldn’t find him for over an hour. I came home to get my car to drive around and look for him and he was sitting at the door.

On a side note zr11990, I had to take my cat to the vet today for a dental that hasn't been out of the house in 10 years and she was scared to death and I felt terrible about taking her out of her environment and upsetting her that bad. They pulled 9 teeth and did whatever else they do (735 dollars) and she is back home tonight and feeling much better. That may change tomorrow when the pain meds wear off but even though it was a terrifying experience for her i did her a huge favor because i know she was in bad pain. I think shes going to be a much happier kitty now.

    #1896 5 months ago

Remember taking my pup to the vet to be fixed , think I took it harder than him ... he's was up and about in no time!
We went with the laser technique... less invasive for him ...

    #1897 5 months ago

Poor baby. That sucks for her. I hope she feels better soon. I have never had a inside cat. Mine have always been adopted strays that come and go through a cat/dog door. Never had a issue except for the one attacked my boxers face like a face crab from Aliens. I had to stop the dog from eating the cat. After that the cat decided it was best to go live with the neighbor who fed him treats all the time.

I know it’s best. It just seems so mean to cut off the poor guys boys.

I had a Basset Hound that was a stray I took in and he hadn't been neutered and the vet told me it needed to be done and I kinda blew it off. Finally on one of my other visits he sat me down and basically pleaded with me to get it done because of the cancer risk and i didnt want that to happen obviously so I had it done. He was like 7 or 8 years old at the time.

That's what they told me but Doug is still crazy . He loved his " Cone of Shame " and would use it as a battering ram , he smashed up his first one in a day . I had to buy two more and tape them together so they were strong enough .
