Quoted from Daditude:

Here's my gentleman. His name is Hulk. He weighs in at 153 lbs. We got him from a family that couldn't take care of him. They left him in a crate all day and a doggy day care all night.
We have 3 kids and a big backyard, and we live right next to a dog playground. He gets lots of love in our house!
[quoted image][quoted image]

It’s great that you were able to give him the home he deserves. Too many people are selfish and just want a dog. They never stop to think about whether or not they can actually provide a good environment for one. I’ve always loved the herding breeds but until I’m in a place with a couple acres of land and a lot of free time, I’ll put my want for an Aussie, border collie, or cattle dog aside. To have one of those in my condo while I work all day during the week would be cruel no matter how much I spoiled them when home.

Thank you!
We love him.

Do you have a smaller dog?
My mom has a smaller house and a dog that i would guess is around 15 pounds. He is great for the space.

Yup, 2 small dogs. One 30lbs and one 20lbs. Check out the OP for a pic of them.

Went over to a fellow Pinsiders house to buy a game. After beating him down on price he turned his killer dog lose on me!
Barely made it out!........I did get the game!
It didn't cost me an arm but it did a leg

That’s a good looking dog there. Big boy at 153...wow. Friend of mine has three Great Danes. I call them horses...dogs are sweet, and gigantic.

We got kayaks so we also got life vests. Especially wanted them because they have handles to assist if they fall/jump out. Well, my wife took Brittany out a few times but she's terrified. I took Harley out twice and he ended up in the drink twice. They need to get their sea legs!

Yep. Charlotte. 8 weeks old. And sounds like a pig when she gets excited. My 6 year old boxer has found her to be a pretty good sleeping buddy as well.

While this is one of my favorite threads on Pinside, these sort of posts within the thread are certainly not.

I have a couple dear canine friends up there that are certainly showing Oscar the ropes and happy to have him.

He was a great looking pooch. I am sincerely sorry for your loss Pinster.

We welcomed a new rescue into our family today. His name is Yogi. He is most definitely a bear and his priority list begins and ends with food. He is an Airedale and is the second of two we now have. Pepper being our first (she's pictured in the arcade below).

I love all these dog pics. Dogs are just the BEST! Cats SUCK...Sorry cat people

#1748 4 years ago
Quoted from bicyclenut:

Cats SUCK...Sorry cat people

I used to love cats, I had 5 at one time, then I found this tiny orange tabby and I brought it back from the dead and I now hate cats. The thing pisses all over everything even though it's fixed. It starts fights with every other animal it comes across and gets its ass kicked, it eats more than any animal I have ever seen and if you don't feed it is all over and into everything. I am very tempted to haul it off and leave it somewhere.
