Here's my last "teenager", probably pushing around age 10. We didn't know it when we took this picture (back in 2019), but his time left was very short. We adopted him as a gray muzzle and within the first week, he was in the ICU diagnosed with a terminal liver mass. So we brought him home and hoped for the best. For the next 11 months, he battled on eventually losing control of his hind legs (degenerative myelopathy), but always being a love bug with an absolute passion for chicken, pizza, and for his new family. We could tell he'd never had yard or grass, and had no idea how to play with toys, but his happiness was infectious. It was a tough situation, but I wouldn't trade a moment of the time we spent with him. He really was a good dog - one of the many good dogs we've been blessed with.

He was lucky to have you on his life. That's a really nice story and I'm glad he got to experience those things.
