Great lineup of pins. Question where'd you get that Avengers topper for AIQ? Thanks.
Quoted from SNES:Grandma, Mom, Wife, Daughter. 4 generations playing pinball in one photo.
What a fantastic photo!
Quoted from TimBoch:I bought TAF for her.

Ahhhh I got confused for a second the timeline is running the other direction.
Quoted from Da-Shaker:Mom plays. She really likes IMDN, haha

Your mom is awesome and has great taste in pinball!!
My GF plays, she even paid for some of our machine but the one lady who gets the most play out of my machine is my best friend's girlfriend. She used to sit around bored while we played Golden Tee all night, now she camps in front of IMDN and plays. Last time it was almost 6 hours straight without moving her butt from that machine haha
Quoted from EJS:Ahhhh I got confused for a second the timeline is running the other direction.
There have been a few changes to the lineup since these pictures. Sold SWEp1 about 2 years ago to buy MMrSE and sold Tee'd Off to make room for IJ a year ago. I think they have always been chronological however. Either right to left or left to right.

Keep that IJ best playing one I’ve been on.
My wife convinced me we needed to buy our first game this year for our 20th anniversary. Six months later, we now own 6 pins. Her favorites are Godzilla, Elvira House of Horrors, and Stranger Things.
We’ve been massive gamers since we were kids, so that’s one of the hobbies we bonded over when we first met, but it’s been amazing to be able to discover pinball together these past couple of years.
I feel sorry for people in relationships where their partner is dismissive of their hobbies. Honestly, I think it’s indicative of bigger problems, but that’s just my two cents
Quoted from Hammerhead:Cobra does your girl still play
See where you going with this ....

My wife doesn’t play pinball or share in any of my other hobbies, but she lets me enjoy them as long as I’m happy. In fact, she sometimes hates when I sell them because I usually give great deals to the buyer while mostly taking a loss. We’ve been married for almost 35 years.
I am grateful that my Girlfriend, Lynnsie, who is a STONE COLD FOX, loves to play and learn pinball. I was married previously to a woman who literally NEVER played a single game of pinball, despite my constant pinball parties, playing daily, and demonstrating my love and enthusiasm for the hobby during our marriage. She couldn't be bothered by pinball. She thought it was a kid's game. She didn't like games of any kind. She was a complete BORE, and nothing lit her fire. You couldn't pay her to have any fun. what a disappointment! I'm glad that's over, believe me...
fast forward to 2021...I met a woman who loves to have fun, and she loves to support me. She is more than happy to play, watch me play, learn flipper skills, and even learn how the games work! She always asks how my game is going, and if I'm going to get a high score. She buys me pinball shirts, and even painted a gigantic mural in my gameroom (she's a professional illustrator). What a refreshing development. I've even taken her to a fairly large tournament, where she tirelessly supported me during my games, which I lost in tremendous fashion, but her and I still had so much fun playing pin and arcade games during our breaks in competition. I've taken her to a bunch of locations to play pinball, and she is always enthusiastic to drop quarters and have a good time. She's a unique gem of a woman. She is the type who just loves to have fun, and if its childish games to have fun, she is all about it. I'm a lucky Pinhead; my Girl loves to play with me, and she loves to support my love for our great hobby. I hope you all find a girl who loves to have fun, and most of all, loves to support you in your passion and love for our hobby. It is one of the most gratifying things I've ever experienced, and now my kids and her daughter are totally into pinball too, so it has trickled down, and we are one big happy pinball family, FINALLY!!!
She's a knockout; a true California BABE

Don't forget to do what she enjoys as well, Congrats and hold on to her tightly.

You're exactly on point. Reciprocity and mutuality are crucial. I've been diligent about ensuring she is supported as well. She's now redecorating my home after moving in, which I have given her full license over. She's a creative, and needs support and time to flex her muscles on creative projects. I've built her a workshop to use for her art projects, complete with a workbench, tools, and full LED lighting to ensure perfect visibility on paint and resin projects. She's pretty stoked to finally have a real space to work on her art projects in, and she's teaching ME how to do resin castings like a professional artist. I love art, but I suck at it. She loves art, and is exceptional at it. its a perfect match

It seems like the Pinball Reunion types are always drawn to IMDN. my IMDN Premium is the main attraction to players who havent played in many years and even decades. I don't know what it is that pulls them in, but I can say that they enjoy the fluid nature and clear targets in the game. It is an absolute masterpiece for beginners, players who are years removed from the game, and passionate hobbyists and collectors alike! It is undeniably and inarguably Elwin's best game, except perhaps for Godzilla, which we all can agree was designed and produced based on a much, much higher BOM, and thus offers more pinball experience to the player with every game; and I don't even consider the theme of Godzilla appealing; I just love the PF design and the pure variety and intricacies offered to the player by the enhanced BOM. Godzilla may go down as the best game of all time, IMHO. There has not been a better, more inclusive, and elaborate pinball design by Stern since LOTR, and even that game comes up short in obvious ways when compared side by side with Godzilla. I bet your Mom would love Godzilla too!!! Your mom has good taste in Music and in Pinball. Excellent Choice!!

Come on man....you already posted these. Need more proof.....
Quoted from Cobra:Did I? I know I posted the one on the MM. I'll have to work on getting some more.
Yes we need more proof!
My wife plays sometimes just when I get a new one lol or when someone we both know other then that not lol I always say more for me
My wife plays casually, but she is super picky about the theme. Pretty much if it's horror themed or Medieval Madness she likes it.
Quoted from Williampinball:The pinball
Both.I like her a bit more. Were actually looking to trade afmrse for a mmr.

Sweet good on your trade

My wife likes MB the best I really don't know why lol
Quoted from dirkdiggler:First game since funhouse 5 years ago my wife actually likes.

That’s because Breakshot is one of the great Sleepers of all time. I have legitimately turned down a $6k offer for mine.
It’s the game that whenever I’m getting “sick” of the hobby: constant machine breakdowns, endlessly bad games over days or weeks, drowning in projects or just plain boredom when nothing seems interesting...
I fire up Breakshot and remember why I absolutely love that game. Brings back the joy of pinball while also being unforgivably brutal.
Curiously, all of my previous partner have always gravitated to Breakshot AND Seawitch as the only games they really enjoy.
They’re really gateway games for people who aren’t “into” pinball. Even if Seawitch or Breakshot totally spanks them, casual guests always tell me they love them. Never really understood it.
Quoted from RyanStl:Reminds me of the last time this type of thread got locked. Not complaining though.
Nooooooooooooo! Don’t do it…….
Quoted from Enchantress:Nooooooooooooo! Don’t do it…….
Once again. No complaints here, just funny to see history repeat itself.
I love it when I’m investigating an abuse report someone has filed and rather than issue a moderation I issue an upvote to the post in question.
Here's my wife playing her judge dredd. The only reason I have any pinball machines is because of my wife. She had always wanted one and would occasionally mention it. We got married pretty young and money was really tight for the first several years so we never gave buying a pinball machine any serious thought. As time went on and after several pay raises, better jobs, ect.,we decided to build a game room for the kids (and us). Ended up buying a few pinball machines and now the whole family is hooked. My wife plays almost every day, judge dredd is her favorite. We play at a few different public places that have machines and she has a lot of fun but always tells me she hasn't found one she likes more than judge dredd.
