I want to mount my MDM screen above my mystery scoop. However with the Lightning rails I can't get to the acres underneath. I could mount to this screw but the plastic piece under it just spins. I have tried holding with pliers but no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Should be a nut under that screw best way to access is take it all off so you don't damage the artwork on the plastic by trying to hold the but with plyers

There is no nut. It is screwing into a plastic post of some sort. Just spins it seems. I am afraid to grab too hard with pliers and break it

Most plastic posts like that have a nut like base molded into them. Slip a wrench on it and screw away

It was a threaded plastic post. Had to squeeze really hard with pliers at the thin part. It did not break and I was able to get he screw out. Got my MDM installed. How long until I smash it with a ball?

I use a deep dish 3/8 socket on those plastic mini posts...
