Does this Superman playfield really have "moderate wear"?

    For once, I have to say that there is a decently priced Superman on eBay. If its playfield were available as a reproduction, this would be a good find.

    For a superman, that's probably a fair assessment of condition. Superman games typically have wear on the lower playfield, especially around the inserts, like this one does. Either way, treat it as a project game. The description says sound isn't working. I'm guessing there are probably other things wrong with it too.

    FYI, superman playfields have not been reproduced.

    I'd probably be a bit more interested in the "shoot the bear" game behind it. A much rarer find. It's a fairly interesting EM shooting gallery game.

    Yeah, I'd say that's moderate wear for a 41-year-old game. Our standards have become unreasonably high in the NIB/restored era. When I got into the hobby (cue old man voice) that would've been a perfectly fine example to fix up & play without losing sleep over some bare wood.
