Anyone know if its possible to burn this and try to see if this removes the background audio from a meteor? I know it's for a VP but that would be nice to have an option. Thanks!!
Find someone that can burn you ROMs, pay them to burn it, and when you get it, plug it in. If it works, great! .. If not, then, no.

No, it doesn't.
I should know since I did the mod for someone, but neither I nor they ever tested it in a machine. When I updated the meteor rom a while ago, I added the option to be able to dip switch test it, and it did not work. (It sort of worked.... until you did anything, then it just started the background sound. The end of the sound commands in meteor restart the background sound)
On a side note, this is a huge issue with the various romsites out there that grab what are essentially works-in-progress and adds them to pinmame or repositories....
