... come with the Stern Playfield Support Slide Bracket Kit pls? (this: http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=1956) Im going to make an order to the site and need to know it before ordering.

Would also love and appreciatte any sugestions on the available stuff from my coming LE version. I have allready ordered the shaker, the backbox and cabinet lights, the led mod for the speakers, the stern speaker kit (of course), the cliffys .... something I´m missing here? Maybe extra gloss pinballs, so I have heard the originals may get magnetized and give problems with the hammer? Any cool Mod around I should have? Any usefull replacements? Any protectors (mylar and so) that im missing?

This will be my very first pin (and prolly the only due to space problems) so I´m really excited, and I want to make it shine, spending some hundreds in it.

    Many thanks in advance guys.

    Premiums have them yes

I recommend buying some filter gel plastic colours for the fuel gauge, you can buy them from eBay. Just cut to shape and fit under the LEDs

That is a fantastic idea. I usually like the factory color LED choices on the LE's, but for areas that could use a change those would work great. I just ordered a set from eBay.

My Premium has the PF slides. It came with them.
I added the Filter gel sheets to my inserts, I don't really care for the clear inserts...and the colors just add so much to it IMO! I also added a shaker motor, and the LED speaker kits, I removed the speaker Ms, and put in custom acrylics. (Just an FYI if you want the original LED speaker light kits, they have them at either of these official resellers.)

Here are a few pictures of my inserts. I located a place here in my area that sells the sheets, and was able to go pick up some sample books, and the swatches in the books were big enough to use for the inserts. In the FUEL gauge I had to combine a couple colors to get the colors I was looking for to go with the colors on the gauge on the PF. I think it turned out pretty cool!

I wondered about doing blue electric chair inserts and red crosses along with the fuel gauge... Looks great! Always nice to have someone less lazy than myself else test drive

Really nice Mod, and it seems easy to add to the playfield. Could I get a link to the ebay site selling the sheets pls?

Also I have just ordered some miniature guitars, i think they may look nice if strategicaly placed on the Playfield:

Your guitars look cool, here is the place I bought mine, they post to Europe, for £1 a sheet it is very good value, you could probably do many machines with one sheet.

Yup, many thanks bro, I have allready ordered one of these, also ordered some mylars for the slingshots, bumpers and the places where the ball drops to the Playfield, with that and the cliffys for the shooter lane and mystery hole, I think it will do for my protective needs

    #11 10 years ago

You can use this instead of mylar for the areas where the balls drops to the playfield : http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=2716

One question Buttefly, did u glued the Filter Gel Sheet pieces to the inserts? if not what u used to keep the film pieces in place pls? A pic of the finished work from the other side would be great pls

Just curious of the fuel inserts use the 6 color LEDs?

    Hi,
    No I didn't use glue.
On the fuel gauge inserts in the middle of the PF, I used a hole punch and put a hole in the filter gel sheet and then used the screw that holds the board to hold the gel sheet also.
On some of the others I had to add screws to hold the filter gel. (just make sure they are not too long!) On the cross and electric chair inserts, some of them are on raised boards, and in order to make them all the same density of color I lowered those boards, by grinding off the spacers to the same height as the others. and then got shorter screws to attach them. (I used one of the FUEL letter insert board spacers as a guide to make them all the same height)

I ordered these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LIGHTING-FILTER-GEL-PAR-64-THEATRE-CLUB-STAGE-COLOUR-/150658887714?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Lighting_Lamps_Lighting_SM&var=&hash=item2313f83022 as another pinsider sugested some post ahead.

The ebay store is very comunicative and accesible, ships worldwide, and offered me a nice deal in shipping costs for multipurchase, also has many colours available.
