Does the length in bumper rods matter?

    I had to replace a coil for firepower. When installed another rod/ring in I noticed after, that the amount of thread that poked through the yokes was less than the others.
    I didn’t think it would matter but I notice that that pop seems to sometimes not fill contract if hit lightly. Curious if the difference and length could be making an issue.

    I did put washers. They were on the pf side vs the coil side
    But the threads were quite a bit shorter ?
    Are they the wrong rod?

    Thanks for the responses. I will compare the length from the ring to start of the thread.
