does stern pinball
are tested with a ball at the end of production?
I’ve seen videos where an employee has a pinball on a stick, moving it over roll overs, testing pop bumpers, targets, switches etc.
Yes and no. Yes they roll a ball around but no not all are test played. However some are test flipped with a ball. I toured the factory and can confirm that. Just look for small dimples on the playfield when you open the box. Also one of my machines had "hi" in sharpie under the apron which I actually thought was cool lol.
Can you imagine the flame threads if they were really played maybe 20 plays. People would be all over it about dimples.
They use a ball on the end of a stick, kinda like what is used in the newton ball assembly.
