Just curious. Sometimes I have a few drinks and want to work on my pinball machines . Is that weird?

no, not weird. this would be a great poll

I have a few drinks and want to play.... and boy do I, but very badly. I also give my games the bird more after a drink

I dont waste my money on booze anymore...Just buy more parts, and just get it done faster.

I know it helps me play better....at least I think it does

Hey Google. ..how far is closest beer store? Walking distance...how far is the nearest hockey arena? ..walking distance ..lol

Nothing goes together better than drinking and playing hockey. Although sometimes a bit to much isn’t a good idea.

Not nearly as much as smoking kush does

Definitely makes me more ballsy and willing to tackle something pinball related that I normally wouldn't.

#9 5 months ago

Does the split second delay cause better ball retrieval?

#10 5 months ago

Yea, that’s weird. Inspires me to bang fat chicks.

100% truth. After a scotch or two, down to the gameroom for some maintenance!

#14 5 months ago

No...but I guess it's making me see double tonight.

Usually end up to tipsy, and the next day I find I will need to re-solder some connections.

Better question is, "does working on your machines make you want to drink"

You aint done nothing until you find and repair a ribbon cable board trace at 2:30 AM after half a bottle of Jack. And the next day it works.

#19 5 months ago

Nothing better than drinking a few beers and good tunes while grinding out tedious work.

Just making me see double too

#21 5 months ago

Quite the opposite: enough libation and I no longer care, nor remember, about the nitpicky shit I was meaning to fix...

#22 5 months ago

I work best at troubleshooting EMs while under the influence of alcohol, so I work on them after 10pm

#23 5 months ago

Am I the only one seeing double?

I saw that too, but took another shot of liquor and it went away

"I have two guns, one for each of ya"

I don't drink anymore but sometimes working on my machines makes me want to!

#26 5 months ago

Is it normal? It's the only fuel that gets me up for the task.

Lol that's the reason I clicked on the post. I hope it's a really cleaver in-joke.

Anyway, I usually stay away from drinking and working on my pins. I'm likely to gouge a playfield or shock myself doing something stupid.

Drinking a cold Cream of Soda helps especially when you are playing for the GRAND CHAMPION title.

Drinking and working on my machines guarantees future work for me.
