So, if I score 11,000,000 it will display that later as 9,999,999 but it does still score properly as I’m playing. So, if I go back and score 12,000,000 will I be the new GC or will it just give the GC spot to whomever flips it next?

Good question. Now stop playing so good.

The GC goes to the last roll, so even of you just get 10,000,010 you will get GC.
So no.
At least that's the way my Banzai Run was.
