The current needs to flow from the white wire to the green wire.
However it is actualy mounted on the switch blades does not matter.
The current flow is most important.
If the white wire is on the back or the front does not matter.
As long at the diode orientation is in the right direction, that's the most important thing.
The image you've posted above is also good.
The white wire and the diode needs to be on the lug with no blade.
