What scale are those? Crazy detailed

#3 10 years ago

The Detail looks great. I use to collect Star Wars figures was thinking of selling them to make room for more pinball games.

#4 10 years ago

Once for Christmas I got a hot Mr. Potato Head. 3rd degree burns on my hands. Dad sure was a joker !

#5 10 years ago

They are 1:6 scale , and I just to own 7 inch figures before but these are just way to amazing ...

I have a few also. cant wait for the next Terminator!!! My grail would be a DX Schwarzenegger Commando.

#7 10 years ago

Isn't that one a custom buit ?

Thanks for sharing. I didn't even know about these. Probably not my thing, but I'm amazed at how detailed they are. Seems like you collection could use a Predator figurine.

They always hold their value as well. I bought Rambo 3 and First Blood for 50-60 each. Go look what they sell for now.

I still think the first Terminator 2 T-800 was their absolute best. Looks like he should start talking.

Waiting for delivery of the 1966 Batman figure and Robin a couple months later.

Those look like Hot Toys made figures - right? Those are sweet. I have one Iron Man with the donuts box and use him as a topper on my game. Detail is awesome.

I have 12" Star Wars figures in plastic tubs, DC comics Kingdom Come action figure sets, Marvel Famous covers 9" figures sets, and a ton of Super Hero Comic statues by Randy Bowen, Paquette, and others. I was "deep" into the collectible comic statues meeting the artists, painters, and going to model shows. I really should part with those, let someone else display them.

Anyone interested let me know.

You're right joekiss they do increase their value because I bought a godfather when it first came out for 225 dls right now you can't find one for no less than 1200 , but the down side of the story is that I sold it 2 years ago for 550 and was super happy because I doubled my money .... Should have keep it a little bit longer, But now I'm collecting them , and who know which figure will increase their value .

Got a predator Celtic ...

I have a few sixth scale figures. Indiana Jones, Predator, and the Star Wars Scum and Villainy collection. They look awesome. I pre ordered this awhile ago:

http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/robocop-ed-209-hot-toys-902058/

It's expensive, but it's one of the coolest looking things I've seen in a long time.

#20 10 years ago

I have few, from sideshow collectibles.

I feel like a real cheapo. I collect Spawn and NECA 7" figures and I think the most I ever spent was $100. I'm over 100 of them easily.

Quoted from MikeMaynard21:

Nothing cheapo about it. Neca has a cool line of figures. Got a bunch of them myself.

#26 10 years ago

Neca has some very cool figures , like the predators, and some figures called army of two figures .

Don't be crazy!....collect something that REALLY increases in value!

#28 10 years ago

Yea, beanies.. lol.... so are any of those figurines made in specific limited edition numbers? Because that's really the key... if they're not, it's foolish to assume they'll always increase in value when the company can make more or has a warehouse of them stockpiled. That's what killed Beanie Babies... the notion that "retiring" something made it rare was an illusion.

I would have thought "hot toys" (as in the thread title) would be relatively inexpensive, being stolen goods.
