I have a Modfather (medium size) shooter on my Metallica and it looks great. The green/yellow one. It matches the playfield and sides perfect. I believe it was $35.00 (includes shipping).

This simply translucent red rod shooter suits perfectly the theme (at least in my MoP-LE model), it´s not too much customized, but the touch, materials and appearance is quite elegant IMHO, and it´s easy to find in any pinball spare parts shop:
