I'm restoring a Dodge City and working on the roto-unit. If you are familiar with this game, the unit lies under the PF and lights shine up, projecting the number onto the insert. My normal practice is to clean out all the inserts with some novus. Unfortunately, when I did this, I discovered that the inserts had some thin paper in them that I wrecked.

Has anybody replaced this paper? What did you use? I'm leaning towards the tissue paper used in Christmas presents and the like. Any other suggestions?

How did you make them? Just cut them out with scissors and spend an hour putting in the little cuts?
