I have a problem with my ‘65 Dodge City that I have been unable to figure out. During gameplay on Player 2, the game will randomly complete a full reset (all score reels to zero, ball count to 1, player unit reset to 1 Player, etc). The problem seems to occur at random scores once Player 2 gets past 200 points. It happens regardless of which feature on the playfield is doing the scoring.

I can play a complete game on Player 1 without a reset, and if I play a 3 or 4 player game, it will not reset on any of the other players (only on Player 2).

I have not touched or rebuilt any of the steppers or score reels on this game. I do have a schematic.

Any ideas of where I should turn my attention to first?

Wow can’t believe its been over 30 days since I made the first post! Sorry about that! I made some additional observations tonight.

First, neither the E or K relay pulls in when the game resets. Secondly, it seems to do it when the hundreds score reel operates. 4 times out of 5, when the 2nd player score rolls from 1XX to 2XX, the game will reset as described in the first post above. The 5th time, it’ll do it at some other random score above 200.
