Quoted from Okarcades:I went to the location twice and there were some people playing it both times. Same group. It must be working well. I'll have to update at a later time
Must have a ton more plays on it by now.
Quoted from Okarcades:Sorry this thread is so boring. The dang thing never breaks. The only thing that broke since last time was the left flipper button wore out so I replaced it. Took 1 minute.
Since the game plays reset at 7089. I'll round up to 7100 plus 8100 so over 15k plays now.[quoted image][quoted image]
You are making out on this machine.
Quoted from ita47:Looks like you might want to change out your magnet core there in front of Sparky. It looks like it is pretty mushroomed. I change this out periodically on mine. If you have access to a metal lathe the magnet cores are easy to reface and they look new again. Or you can buy a new one for $12 at Pinball Life.
How hard is it to change out?
Quoted from Okarcades:Alls well and nothing wrong! Havent had to fix anything with this game in a really long time!
And remeber the last count stopped at 7089.
Add 2304 and that comes out to 9393 plays!

Did you replace the Sparky magnet yet?
Quoted from bernieberg:Yup, one of the first things I did when I got it.
When I got the machine I replaced the sparky magnet core, adjusted the drop targets, cleaned the playfield, and replaced rubbers. Sparkys right foot is broke, so I have to find a way to secure it, otherwise everything is working great.
How many plays on it before you changed it out ?
Quoted from Chrizg:I’ve had both feet break off. Took a coin box lid and cut out a bracket the shape of the bottom of sparky and bolted the feet to it and secured it to the base of him. Can kinda see the bolts coming up in this pic on his feet and it is ugly but works. This met has around 180k plays so a little more wear than most.[quoted image]
180k in plays!!!! Must have been a routed machine? If you could snap a few pics from the playfield. Would enjoy seeing how the machine is holding up and how it looks after all that.
Quoted from Chrizg:Still on route today. All but 4 of my listed machines in profile are on route. This met not my highest played machine either..
My guess would be Iron Man for the most plays.
Quoted from Chrizg:[quoted image]
Any pics of the playfield to go with that? Would be interested to see the wear after all those plays
Quoted from Spiderpin:Been crickets for a year.
Maybe he will see the new request.
Quoted from Chrizg:Need to replace the sparky magnet core every 3k plays
It's time for me to replace mine. How hard of a job was it?
