FYI that Cliffy on the right side of the shooter lane is doing nothing right now. It needs to be lined up with the edge of the ball channel.
I went to the location twice and there were some people playing it both times. Same group. It must be working well. I'll have to update at a later time

Must have a ton more plays on it by now.
OK nothing technically broken but game had an the triple o's on it when I got there. A rubber fell off and got stuck in the trough. Fixed it up and it played great.

Just had to put a few rubbers and lights back in that fell out and give it a quick cleaning. Other than that it's good to go!
Quoted from newpinbin:I've have the spotlights fall out on my ST as well. Are those the ones that fell out on the Met?
One was the snake light and one was the sparky flasher.
Quoted from captainadam_21:Where is this on route now? I played it at the Bonus Round and loved it.
Hydra Beer Company by the theater

Sweet. Any other pins there?
Not yet. I have a star trek the next generation coming up next. It will probably make its debut at the Bonus Round first.

Nothing wrong with it except there was a ball Missing error. I couldn't find it anywhere so I thought something was wrong but I checked the trough and found it was missing! Then I finally found the ball in under the left sling shot. I had a tough time getting it out so I have no Idea how it got in there! Other than that there was nothing else wrong!

Quoted from newpinbin:Lot of magnet wear. Do you plan on replacing it?
Nope it'll smooth out
Quoted from Okarcades:Nope it'll smooth out
It might smooth out, hard to say. Eventually the ball will skip over the top and start to create airballs into Sparky's body making it difficult to get Sparky opto hits for multiball. I'll bet it is already a gameplay issue. Just take it off and grind it flat. I have done that to mine 3x in just over 10,000 plays. I guess the magnet core in the newer Stern games must have softer metal or something. Didn't have this problem on Iron Man.
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Where do you get the shooter lane right side (shooter's perspective) protector?
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Isn't there a "lay flat" shooter lane protector right side in the picture?
I just emailed cliffy himself!
Perfect thread for me to find since I'll be putting my first NIB game out on location next month. Picked Metallica since it's loved by almost everyone it seems. Depending on how it goes at this specific space, might go for an Iron Maiden and then a non music themed game to round it out. Looks like yours is holding up well!
Not a darn thing wrong with it. Played a few games and emptied the cash. Pretty much no dimples. That is a bit weird. I don't car about dimples at all but this game seems to be pretty solid.

Post sleeves cut in half with little rubbers on top. They last forever.
Quoted from captainadam_21:I didn't know 81 bar had pins. I thought it was all older arcade games
Fairly recent development. Hopefully they keep getting more!
Quoted from captainadam_21:I didn't know 81 bar had pins. I thought it was all older arcade games
It was! But we just dropped three games off there because of high demand. Metallica. Star trek pro. South Park
Quoted from captainadam_21:pickleric. You should put iron maiden there
Sounds like a lot of work!
Quoted from Okarcades:$1 or
2 for $3
Is it me, or does 2 for $3 sound like a pretty crappy bargain... lol
Quoted from Beaumistim:I think it's 3 for$2 not2 for$3
Ya that's what I meant! 3 for $2
Quoted from zacaj:Per Stern guidelines it's time for a flipper rebuild!
I'll do it at 10k
Interested in the total cost of acquisition (purchase, taxes, transportation, installation time and travel/gas), gross revenue installed, net revenue installed, and cost of maintenance (parts, labor), split percentages at various sites (50% or varied). I'm curious as to the actual numbers on this experiment. Tx.
