Condition is everything. Playfield wear and cabinet condition will heavily influence the price, more so than a designation of "HUO", "previously routed", or "mint". You can tell a lot about the playfield condition by examining the color registration and wear in the shooter lane, Shire VUK, and Gimli VUK.
Keep in mind the price range in the Pinside Market archives can be influenced by mods, because LOTRs can have $1,000+ of mods installed.
Q1: Is it a Standard Edition or Limited Edition?
Q2: How extensive is the brass armor (e.g., legs, side rails, hinges, shooter rod housing, coin door)?

It's standard edition
No wear in the Shire or Gimly VUK or Shooter
Brass includes Legs, coasters, bolts, lollipop rails, hinges and lockdown bar. Stock coin door
Totally agreed on the HUO point. This is truly mint. I just figured I'd mention the HUO since it's actually documented.

Good call. I may add one of the ring shooters, the rest of the figures, LOTR coils and cliffys and call it a day. Don't think I'll be adding LED's to this. Maybe a brass coins door but those are crazy money.
