Ok, I had no idea where to post this, so I'll try here.
I know with pinfest and all those mega events over here state sides, this might not be that much of a big deal, but for European standards is gigantic, and even for US standards, it is everything but small.
So a friend of mine, who is the biggest pinball enthusiast I know, organized this mega pinball event in Germany. They rented an old factory and put the pins into the machinery hall.
They did a documentary about the entire process, how they sourced all the pins, everything from collectors to brand new ones, got sponsors for the event (in good old German fashion a brewery), all the way to him visiting the Stern factory in Chicago, which alone is worth watching.
Amazon Prime just put the documentary up. It is German but with English subtitles.
Amazing to watch how dedicated some of us are to the hobby.
As a side note, the guy you will see in the beginning walking into a pub and playing with the pinball machine is a very famous German actor out of the 80s.
Highly recommend watching it.
Here is a link (admins, hope it is ok to post the link).
It is called "Road to Pinball"
Have fun watching
