Bally, 1992Having issues with My Dr. Who.. Machine works fine in single ball mode, until multi ball...All the balls get clogged in the upkicker. anyone have this issue??? Im kinda scratching my head on this one. Optic works as it should for the upkicker in test and single ball mode.
Inspect the connection of the up-kicker assembly and the wireform. Does it all look snug and square?
I'd recommend you pull the glass and drop balls into the up-kicker one at a time. Look closely at how cleanly the ball ejects up. If it does not clear the wireform perfectly every time you may have a chipped plunger or a coil issue.
Run about 12 balls through. Report back with what you see.
If single fire does not work... more balls just compounds the issue.

It works just fine with 1 ball. Multi ball it doesn't even attempt to fire. Once all balls are off the playfield, it will do a ball search and fire 1 ball out leaving the others there until the next ball search
Did you check to see if you had any switch errors? Credit Dot?
Run through full switch test... with a ball. Microswitch or opto... check all to illuminate a possible matrix issue.
Key switches to notice working is obviously the one at the bottom of the plunger, but also, 68, 38 and 88 (Three Dalek switches in subway).
Don't count on the fact the ball is kicking up that the switch at the bottom of the up-kicker is working. It could be bypassed by switch compensation. Actually go into switch test to see the switch change.

Checked the dalek switches and they register as well as the opto in switch test to the upkicker. It's on location so I'm just going from memory, but figured those were the obvious culprits but turns out it wasn't.
