Picked up my Dr. Who a few months back...In the process of restoring it, bought an LED kit and am floored that a color DMD is available!!! I'm debating if I should put a weeping angel statue in the game somewhere but I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night knowing its lurking in my pin LOL

I'd probably be in tears if someone did this to me:

Does anyone know where I can source a working mini playfield gearbox and working motor in the US?

My mini playfield is the only part left to repair and my dr. who pin will be ready to play!

LOL! Thanks for the link! I just bought it a few minutes ago! $70 is a great price for a new motor and gearbox!

My Dr. Who is 90% up and running thanks to the help of Acejedi (Joe)

All I need is a couple of sound Roms and the mini playfiled motor, gearbox and cliffy package to arrive and I'll be 100%!

Man does the color DMD look amazing!

Super excited! Had a nice talk with Mark from basement arcade and he can make me a wobblehead kit out of what he has left so I ordered it yesterday. It will take him 2 months and once he runs out pieces he is done so hit him up to see if he has any left. It's an expensive mod but well worth it!

Also I got my sound roms in today as well as my full cliffy kit! Just waiting for my mini playfield motor and gearbox!

Does anyone know the best place to get a K9 for my playfield? The wife wants one

Quoted from TaylorVA:

Faz and I have a thread going on the wobble head install. worth checking out if you are planning on doing the BA wobble head.

Awesome! Thanks for the info TaylorVA

I'm in the process of rebuilding the time expander unit since it was so dirty and I needed to install the full cliffy kit on it and new motor and gearbox. It's taken me a few evenings of work to clean it up and I'm trying to figure out the best lubricant to use on the expander rails...any suggestions?

I picked up mine and restored it. It is now my favorite pinball! It has so many cool features! You will love it!

Quoted from ttown:

I just purchased my first Dr Who and its on its way back from Boise tomorrow. I have only played Dr Who a few times so I hope it has some staying power.

So excited! Just got my Wobblehead kit in today from Mark at Basement arcade!

It took a few months but I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

Quoted from dsuperbee:

Hopefully when these get re-made again I can pick one up. GF saw these and was quite upset we don't have one.

Mark from basement arcade might have enough parts left to make one for you if you ask him.
