My best was 256 loops in a game that ended with either a 4.5B or 5.5B score on factory settings. Sadly my batteries went dead years ago and I lost my scores.

Sonic Booms is my main strategy. I do video mode when it gets lit by way of missing shots and the same for multiball. I never get bored of shooting the O ramp all day long and then doing the W-H-O when Sonic Boom is lit. I love the sound effect when you make the Sonic Boom shots.
My gameplay strategy:
First I get #6 so it doubles the shots for the O ramp to get to 4x faster and it leaves them lit longer before slowly ticking back down to 1x. I then do #1 to make video mode easier, then #3 to give me more time for W-H-O for when I have sonic boom going in case I miss shots. I will pick #7 only when the time expander is raised so that way every shot to those 5 targets lights two lights instead of one. After that I don't care what order the other doctors come in as they are pretty useless to me and I'll end up getting them lit when I complete video modes.
I shoot O ramp and sonic booms all day long. When I miss inevitably I'll end up locking balls and if I lock both then I go for multiball (after lighting doctor 7).
When video mode ends up being ready (I never really shoot for those targets but they get hit plenty when the ball is zipping about off the slings, etc.) I will make sure I have the playfield at 4x and then I'll go for the video modes. What will usually prompt me to shoot for it after it is lit is missing my O loops and recovering the ball down at the lower flippers.
My best was either 4.5B or 5.5B (I think it was 5.5) but that got erased years ago and my memory is fading because I'm old. Factory settings on my game, the only alteration is I have regular flippers on the machine as it was originally designed for. Those lightning flippers ruined that game and I would never allow them in my home. Anyone playing this game with lightning flippers on it is really doing themselves a disservice.
Writing all of this makes me want to play the game again! I have been neglecting mine for awhile because of lack of time and having gotten new additions to the collection over the last year which get my pinball attention when I do have time to play.
