I've read that it breaks a lot and is a pain to fix. I'd have no problem working on them and fully expect to. But that unit seems to be pretty problematic and wonder how much longer I'll be able to find parts (at this point I'm purposely making myself feel better by talking myself out of it, ha). Buying new should hopefully last a bit before I have to dive into it, and if it comes broken from the factory..well..I'd expect a warranty repair. I also live 20mins from Stern and Jersey Jacks so I can go beat their door down if it's from one of them! Kidding....

Doctor who is not a game to be afraid of. Stuff will break on most any machine. It is a great game, but you should be paying way less for one right now is all.
