I guess you if you like the older crowd.
Quoted from Days:Today i finished phase one! "Clean" all the walls ( on the photo there is the washbasin, but i already removed ), so i start the isolation of the game room and make new walls.
I will start that tomorrow. I also just used some rendering to test how the lights would look, and also the colors of the walls and ceiling, i think i will opt for a "caramel" color. Am going to sleep a bit and continue the works tomorrow.
Cheers.

Are those epoxy repairs on a basement wall? Hope that stays dry for you.
Quoted from Days:The walls are perfectly dry, what you see on the walls is dirty, some oil because the old owner had some wierd stuff on the walls, and the white things you see is plaster used to hold the dry walls. Only in the second photo at top right there is a little inflitration, that i already fixed from the outside
all the basement ( this part of the gameroom included ) is underground, so from the outside i needed to dig a bit and fix it. The ancient owner drilled a hole to pass the phone cable and never sealed correctly...
I see about the circles, my basement has more epoxy repairs than I care to admit. Your gameroom is going to look great.
Quoted from Days:Sooo! After some days with tons of work and other projects, today i returned to finish the new door opening
Don't try this at home!

And i added a steel IPN support to reinforce the structure , i sanded the steel and applied a anti-rust paint before installing the IPN .
Tomorrow i will do fill with concrete the empty spaces around the steel bar.

The nice thing buying an old house in europe is sometimes we have some nice surprises while digging and opening doors, look at this:

But well, unfortunley i didn't found anything in the other room...
But would be nice to found something like that catacombs on the photo!
For today it's all!
Next step, to make the floor leveled, i will rent a machine to "sand" the concrete since in some areas there is some parts that are too high, and i will try to level them before put the epoxy resin floor.
Cheers!
Holy shit, I would not be able to sleep with that in my basement. Creepy.
Quoted from Days:Hahahha, the catacombs photo is a joke
... unfortunately! Because i would love to have catacombs at my home!
You got me. I lived in a house that an unfinished basement, but had a coal room. That room was so weird. I didn't like that basement.
Quoted from Days:Hahahaha, all it's a question of perspective
Hehe, nothing damaged during the moving!
Now is time to unpack the ones I already have at home!
