Just changed up my LED color scheme and added sweet pinblade artwork. Also put a color changer LED under the Recon scoop to give a little color inside of it.

Quoted from ExitWound:I've never made it to Klendathu without getting RECON 6. Planet P, just once I think. I think my average is ~Tengo Urilla. It's such a hard game!
That's a really good score. Congrats!
Yeah, me too, I only reached Klendathu because of Recon 6....and it was a blast!
Quoted from RyThom:I played the best game of my life this morning!!
I've owned the game since September and finally made it Klendathu! I've made it to Planet P several times, but those Tankers aren't easy to hit, especially when the pressure is on.
Klendathu's a pretty cool mode - a satisfying free-for-all after the adrenaline rush getting there. Is there a way to "complete" Klendathu, or do you just keep making shots until you drain? I zeroed out all the bug counters and hit every nuke shot, yet nothing said, "You win".
I'm still pumped up from that game!! The post-multiball music couldn't be more stuck in my headHave any tips? My high score is only about 160 million.

Quoted from Akitostarwind:The remakes however don't /are unable to process the bug targets sound effects.
That might be a good thing. I played SST at Pinfest for the first time in a few years since I owned mine.
I remember now why I wouldn't buy another one - the goddamned bug screeching sound effects CONSTANTLY.
LED flashers in SST is INSANE! Seriously, try it out but I can't imagine you'd keep them in there for long, so make sure you have regular flasher bulbs on hand for when the time comes.
Back in the club after a 4+ year hiatus (or Yatus if you watch Big Brother). Have completed the cabinet cleaning and underneath insert cleaning. Still need to remove and clean the subway. All LEDs in the inserts now, although I only had a 25 pack of non-ghosting bulbs, so only the lower playfield got those. The upper insert LEDs will need to be replaced upon my next order since non-ghosting LEDs flicker on this game.
The only LED GI is in the slings, outlanes and the two spotlights. Both upper corners and almost the entire upper right side GI are out. I have another project ahead of this, so now that I've got it playing 100% I swapped in my Pinstadium kit. Shortcut to stripping the entire playfield to replace all the GI bulbs for now.

DIY stadium style white LEDs with a remote that can cycle between warm-daylight-cool-white. Temporarily mounted with Velcro because I was out of magnetic tape, hence the gap between the rails and the cabinet sides.
