Steve Ritchie said in a podcast interview after SM was released that Gary Stern resisted SM as a license because it was too juvenile. Gary doesn't realize what his target market likes.
10 year olds who played GTA for the first time are now in their 30s. COD in their 20s.
Gary is a pretty successful businessman, I think he knows his target audience pretty well lol. Look at all the great themes that Stern has made the last few years. They have been killing it IMO.
