If its Thunderdome: two men enter...one man leaves

#6 6 years ago

Would be good if they incorporate the original trilogy and the new movie road fury

#7 6 years ago

While I love the first three movies, the new film coming out should be kick ass. You can't go wrong with this theme. I'm in!

#8 6 years ago

Would be nice of stern would come round with the idea of it or another new pin company
If so someone could post this on sterns fb page

#9 6 years ago

I could handle first 3 and new one combined pin

#10 6 years ago

Steve Ritchie next year designing a mad max pin would be mind blowing awesome

#11 6 years ago

Perfect theme for pinball. If done right, this could be something special. I hope the rumor is true. If STERN comes through with "The Walking Dead" and "Mad Max" licences, we could be in for an exciting 2014!

Whos seen the aussie versions???

It would be hard to look at something saying "Mad Max" and not be Mel.

Are you sure? The Road Warrior-

He might be crazy but he is one of the main reasons the movies were great.

Agreed, but the Humongous rules the wasteland!

I'd love a Mad Max featuring all 3 or now 4 movies. One of my favorites.

Well somebody went and did this. The verdict is out.

Great idea for the original movies but I doubt it would happen. The new movie would be more on the cards I would think.
That machine cost so much to build. if you listen to an earlier episode of the Pinheadz Podcast, Rod actually interviewed the guy who built it. Ep6

I saw the Mad Max amoungst the creators private collection. Asked if I could play a game, he said no as it had just been sold. I believe it now lives in Sydney, Australia.
If anyone is interested, check EBay Australia, the creator has one of his original Mad Max Backglasses up for auction. 4 days remaining.
Cheers

Its a good thing he has that huge scope because he isn't looking through it.

#26 4 years ago

It sold for about $26K from memory on Ebay a little while ago.

#27 4 years ago

yes but for the original movies

Im such a fan...Im ok if its based off the new movie. I want the franchise to live and Miller has some making up to do with Thunder Dome (loved The Road Warrior). Tom Hardy is bad ass, so Im sure he will nail the part. Would love to have a Mad Max pin in my collection....artwork of the wasteland for the playfield, car toys, im sure there will be plenty of good callouts to incorporate.....

#29 4 years ago

Would be cool with some of the old cheesy music incorporated some how...

Main modes could work through the franchise, with mini modes built into that individual movie....
Throw a little Toecutter in there and I think it would be a great title...

It would be a fun one off project. With gasoline generator for power, and or real flames for GI.
There would be no pf glass. Tons of rusty misfit parts and pieces bolted and clamped together.
Pf would have to be asphalt. You would have a game you could keep outside.
Some love for the movies
I still voted NO
