Over the years I’ve shipped games, had games shipped to me, driven 2-3 days to pick them up. But shipping has changed significantly in recent years and not for the better. Pick up the game yourself whenever possible. Too many potential surprises otherwise.

I will no longer ship games or have them shipped to me unless NIB from a distributor. If I’m I’m interested in a used game, it has to be local or less than a day’s drive away. Not buying anything used based on the seller’s description and pictures alone. Cash on the glass is always good but begins to get impractical (and perhaps risky), especially for anything over a few thousand dollars. I’m thankful I’m not starting my collection these days.

I always pick up or have a trusted friend pick up for me.
It’s not worth the aggravation to me.
