They have both contributed something of worth. Things in life are very rarely only one way or the other, it's often true that two opposing views are equally correct and valid.
A downvote SHOULD be for things that don't contribute anything of value or blatant misinformation. If you post something accurate, you don't deserve a downvote just because I disagree. Wax discussions have this problem frequently, as a quick example.

I recently saw two people disagree over which wax should be used. Both recommended equally valid waxes, and guess what - neither was the wax I prefer (Blitz 1 Grand). What should I have done in this situation? Downvoted both? No, I upvoted both for contributing useful brands that may be more accessible to players in different world regions.
