Do you love Drop Targets?

Three Drop Target questions for you:

1. What post-EM pins have at least THREE sets of drops and have at least NINE drop targets? (NOT COUNTING INLINE DROPS -- Please don't include Centaur/EBD here...)

2. Which post-EM pin has the most drop targets of all (not including inline drops)?

3. What is your favorite post-EM drop target pin of all time?

(Please thumbs up a favorite drop target pin if you agree with the selection being "best drop target pin of all time" -- if the thread is interesting enough, I'll scrape the top 10 pins with the most thumbs up and conduct a poll from it for the Grand Champion...)

1. I am loving my Seawitch right now. It's such a pure drop target game. It has 3 sets of drop targets to bash down over and over. There's a bank of 3, 4, and 4 targets for 11 total.

2. Black Hole has a LOT of drops with 16.

3. I think Black Hole might be the best Drop Target game ever.

I only recently played a Stern Meteor for the first time and loved it. 3x 3 bank drop targets and 1x 6 bank of targets. So 15 in total.
Gtb Sinbad is another favorite of mine, at 10 targets other games have more of them but this game is just so much fun.

Nice thread. Drop targets are and have always been my favorite feature on a pinball machine. Classic Sterns are full of 'em. Gotta mention Big Game. Nine drops (3x3) that tie in nicely to the end of ball bonus.

I really enjoy my WPT and its' 3 sets of drop targets totally 16. Just shy of other drop target kings.

I REALLY like inline drop targets. i really like them on metallica, centaur and flash gordon. The one thing i don't like about the ones on metallica is that they break easily. My buddy has had to replace his twice and his game probably has less than 500 plays on it.

The only thing I don't like about drop targets is when you hit them on edge and it sends the ball towards a bad place

i forget to mention that i hate the drop target in front of the ball lock on fishtales. It's so frustrating when it sends the ball screaming SDTM

I also like the way the drops are integrated into JD. The bad impersonator mode as well as opening the VUK shot for collecting the jackpots.

My Jungle lord has 3 sets of drop targets, 11 targets in total. I think the other Wms Sys 7 would all be similar.

Solar Fire is one of my favorites, it has 4 banks and a total of 13 drops. another of my favorites would be Nine Ball, 3 banks of drops (or 5 if you count the left bank as 2, since it has a post in the middle and the single non-standard drop target at the horseshoe) and 15 total drops!

STTNG has one drop target, and you can't even see it -- it's under the Borg ship.

Shadow has 1 drop and so does WOZ.

I am wondering how well the drops in THLE will integrate into gameplay. They've been hyping them to the point where that seems to be the main feature of the game. Talk about a bad drop effecting how a game plays!

Williams Defender is also a unique game with lots of drops. while it only has two banks of drops, it has 2 inline, two in the middle of the playfield (!), and one in front of the lock shot. For a total of 15 drops.

And I think the 10 drops in the two banks are individually controlled by the mpu. I could be wrong though.
