I always include the manual if it came with it when I bought it. One time only when I did a nice restore on a WCS94, I bought a NOS manual and included it in the sale price. If it is an older game, I will download the main parts, print them out, and include it in the sale price. I do not always include a bunch of extras like slingshots, ramps, etc. Here is a funny example of why not.

I once sold a very nice MSF to someone many states away so shipping was involved. The game was REALLY nice. For some reason the guy saw it necessary to talk me down $50. I had a NOS servo board for the Frankenstein head which I was going to throw in the deal but since the guy talked me down I kept the servo board. So the game gets sold/shipped/arrives and everyone is happy. I then put the servo board on Ebay and it sold for about $75. Guess who the buyer was? Yep, same guy that bought the pin from me!

Depending on which game manual it is (because prices vary), I usually sell my manuals for a few thousand dollars and they get that game free

if I have the original I include it, if I don't I generally print one out and put it in a 1/2" 3 ring binder for myself and include that if I sell the game

I don't see the point in keeping the manual unless it is an original hard copy and you plan on selling on ebay.

    Quoted from dsuperbee:

On the rare occasion I sell a game, anything I have for it goes with the game.
    Good examples:
Sold my RS. Included with the game were 2 NOS plastic ramps. (which I could have easily held onto and sold)
Sold my JM: Included was a NOS complete wired ramp set, replacement nuts for the hand mechs, as well as the X/Y screw drives. (None of which were easy to find back then either)

this is the way i feel also. When i sell something anything i have related to that item that could help the new owner i give to them.

I've only bought, I've never sold.
But I've not yet received a manual or schematics with any of the 5 machines I've purchased.

If I ever sell a game (I fear the day is coming), I will include the manual.

I am ready when you are buddy

Manual goes with the game. But I pull the pinballs and all the bulbs out of the game before I sell it.

Whenever I've sold a game I've taken off any parts that are very hard to find and have never been reproduced and sell them separately from the game. (Of course, I've never sold a game so I've never actually done that.)

Some of my games came with manuals and some didn't. Any that didn't I immediately ordered one for that game just to have it.

I always include the manual, coin box, slots etc or whatever I have that goes with the game.

I know a guy locally who always pulls manuals and then sells on ebay, boooooo!

I haven't ever considered keeping the manual before this post. I was actually pretty proud of the fact that the machines I sold had actual manuals with them.

I even gave a guy a "How to repair pinball" book I had gotten as an extra in another deal, and a bottle of Novus 2, just because it was his first machine.

At least make them a copy of it or something, damn.

I always include it if I have it. Most of the games I have bought never have it included, very odd.

It's not like you can just print it out and expect it to be the same thing. The schematics definitely will not be readable unless you take the time to blow them up to 11x17 size. Even then, the quality may not be there to make it readable.

I once went to look at pin for sale with the manual in hand printed out from ipdb. It was a pretty thick manual even though it was printed on both sides of the page. Of course, when I arrived, there was no manual.
I did not even buy the pin but I forgot to take my printout with me. So it was my "gift" to the seller.

Wow. If true, that is some crap. Slowly taking away everything you used to get for anything pre-LE days and making you pay extra for it now. Such a load of crap.

I bought Tron Pro NIB and there was no manual. Way to go STERN!

The manual ALWAYS should go with the pin. Price accordingly if the $20 gives you heartburn.

I Only received the manual with two games the rest I had to purchase. If I have the manual it goes with the game.

I agree... If I have it, the buyer gets it. Its part of doing business

I bought a Tron Pro NIB and it came with the pro manual... aka a couple sheets of poorly photocopied paper stapled in the corner...

I bought a TAF from a guy and he waited till I paid him then offered to sell me the manuals the video and a set of proto plastics for 50 bucks. The video was stupid and the proto plastics come with the new plastics sets and there is nothing you can do with them anyway. I got ripped off.

If I have the manual, it goes along with the game.

Unfortunately, there are many times where I just don't have it to give...
