As I said, rubbers on! Although after skimming thru other threads on this topic, almost any answer could be considered correct. I do like the "toothpick between the rubber and bat (and into the locating hole) so nothing moves as you raise the playfield to tighten the bat"--that makes a lot of sense. It also seems to me that my TFTC alignment hole was at the tip of the flipper...
