Best post in this thread. I expect a lot out of a game I pay $7,500. I expect quality control, completed code, reliability, some type of novelty/originality, pinball specific callouts, great music, great art, and appealing themes.
I don't want to want a game just because it is rare, expensive, or hard to fine. I want to own a game because it is awesome.

To some extent I think the LE's are partially responsible for the exponential growth of players to the hobby. It really brought out the "collector class" of pinheads . . . and those tend to be the people that bring others into the hobby.
I like the LE's. Don't like the speculators. Looks like you can't have one without the other though.
