Hi guys, so I'm almost done completing a pf swap on an Atlantis repro, and am applying the staples to the lamp socket ground wiring. While I understand that staples are necessary to keep the ground wire in place, is it really necessary to duplicate every last staple from the original pf? There are A LOT of staples!

    No.

I tried to duplicate every staple in my xenon restore. Ugh how I hated pulling them out...

The more I thought about it. The more I wanted to do it differently. Rather used insulated wired and ditch
    the old timesaving cheap solution.

You definitely don't want the ground wire to touch something it shouldn't. So keep it tight.

I figure it to be "tight" enough, but some spots like between lamps spaced 2" apart seems a bit much.
    Thanks for the feedback.

I ditch the staple method all together and use wire and heat shrink tubing. That staple method sucks

at the factory it seems the put the braid down first then added the lamp sockets, there was a lot of extra staples. Do what makes sense.

Only if they short out something

That braided wire is power, not ground. At least the one under the playfield...

6v or 24v, there can be both. for the lamps it appears to be ground (non fused)
