Hi any update on availability of 128x16, I'm waiting very patiently Perhaps I can start colouring in Hook in the the meantime. Thanks.
Quoted from pinballsp:There is something that is essential, although I think it is obvious, NEVER color by hand a dynamic content, anything that varies every time an animation is played, it should not be colored.
Yes, I've realised and have mainly been using pallets to map the existing 4 brightness levels, the Smart pencil and Frame over Frame (+ intelligent mode). I've only noticed 3 brightness levels in use but I have only captured the attract mode animations. Colouring in such a narrow strip (128x16) is a challenge (does Frame over Frame work backwards?) but it is good to see Peter Pan in a green costume.
New V1.2.0 release installed and my current project loaded fine, the only thing is I've lost my previous favourite colours and gradients which were accessible using previous version of Magic editor. I'm running it from a new program folder if that's relevant.
Thank you for the improvements, most of which I can see how to use, great that you're listening to your users feedback
My previous install folder contained app_colors.dat and magiceditor_beta.1.1.ini which I renamed after copying to above - all seems good now, thanks.
Copy & Paste would be really useful and "move" position of the paste buffer to animate an object moving, or scrolling a background.
I'd like to be able to import gifs easily as background watermarks, things like sky with clouds, forest or parchment paper.
Another very minor thing it would be good to be able to differentiate between white and unallocated in the editor palette colour selection - see below, which is the white?
