Without ideas from lucky1 and steve45 you'd still try to figure out how to add color to your dmd-led7 (copy of Run-DMD rgb panel control)
Like your copy pin2dmd called dmdst32 (patched software to hide pin2dmd logo)
And your newest invention (dmdmk66) is also only copy of open source code from pixelmatrix, which you also won't contribute to... and won't reveal the code like it should be in that community!

...and don't forget the taxes normal business owners pay!
I had several requests from commercial customers that didn't want buy from pinballsp because he refused to write correct invoices, and/or tried to add VAT on top. Of course I welcomed them with a VAT-ID and German tax number.
Not having these business necessities also bypasses european regulatories like warranty and legal responsibilities.

@pinballsp: if your firmware is completed why you need an sdcard update functionality?
I have not seen a ColorDMD update for a long time... Why? because the firmware simply works on the provided machines!
For pin2dmd it is a different case since it is still a hobby project from lucky1 s point. Hardware sales aren't done by him.

Dmod : your exclusive retailer for europe charges 399,- for lcd and 369,- for led version, which is way more then stated by you. But it is absolutely legit if people are willing to pay it. And it seems they do.

Anyways, this thread is getting way more attention then it deserves. Overall every post made here brings that topic back on top of pinside list.
