From the looks of it, the white board where the lights mount to, would need to be cut to accommodate the LCD Monitor color DMD. I am thinking of doing the same thing myself to my LW3 and JP. The other option would be to recess back the screen so it fits behind the plastic. I think it would look odd being so far back though. I am seriously thinking about cutting the board to make it fit.
