Hello everybody!
I have some DMD problems on my TSPP. Basically the game boots and plays fine. The initial startup screen on the DMD showing the version also looks OK but as soon as Start is pressed and the first in Game screen (Player 1, points etc.) should appear, the display randomly shows wrong entries (e.g. audits) or keeps showing the startup screen (flashing).
Hence it somehow seems the display ROM is pointed to wrong entries. I replaced the ribbon cable to the DMD and cleaned the pins but that didn't solve the problem. Any further ideas?

Thanks for the reply! Display and CPU ROM are both 5.0 and were working fine until a couple of days ago. I will try replacing the roms with an older version I still have lying around to see whether the ROM broke.

Just replaced display and CPU ROM to an older 4.0 and still have the same problem. Any further ideas anybody?

I unmounted the CPU board and cleaned the pins on the connector to the DMD thoroughly. They looked slightly corroded. Now everything is working fine again! Thanks everybody!
