Merry Christmas to everyone!!! Picked up a Shadow pin and had it overhauled by TNT. They told me the DMD was gassing out so I bought a ColorDMD for my STTNG and swapped the working DMD from the STTNG into the Shadow. Well, that didn't help the appearance problem as there is a big black hole in the middle of the screen. I can barely make out what's going on since I'm limited to images from each side only. I swapped the cable from the STTNG and it made no difference. Any suggestions? I'm guessing the board has an issue?? Thanks everyone!!

Well, I'm guessing you are correct as the STTNG dmd was the original one. Really wish the colordmd guys would do The Shadow. I don't want to spend any money on a regular dmd.....

I didn't swap the boards because when I swapped back in the original dmd, the gassing out was minimal as compared to the STTNG dmd. I was incorrect in my original post about there being no change.

Just heard back from Todd Tuckey from TNT amusements who overhauled the machine for me. He told me they serviced the board but didn't try it in another game. So he suggested trying the STTNG board as well. I swapped the boards and the DMD works perfectly. Chalk up another one to a bad board! Thanks guys!
