    Quoted from arakissun:

I have several nice working displays, but I store them for spare if I need for some of my machines. But they just seat, not used from a year.I know that the gas have life.
Is it end only when it's in use?
Or DMD can die even it not used from big period of time?
If yes,can I save from it's life if I put it in zipper nylone vacuum bag?
I just want to store them safe for much big period of time if it possibe.

Vacuum bags would probably be the worst idea; since you're then creating negative pressure outside the glass, causing the gas inside to want to escape more quickly, and out-gassing is the normal death of displays. Not to mention the possible damage to the nipple, if there is one.

As vid said a sealed bag (no vacuum), with Desiccant in it, in a safe room temperature controlled space is the best.
