I am working on a Rottendog DMD089-1 DMD driver for a friend. It runs but has graphics issues as shown in the pictures below in a Dr Who machine. The same issues occurred in a Dracula and Adams family and follow this board. There was a question if the RAM was correct on the board but I doubt that is the issue. From what I traced out it looks like it uses the same 6264 chip as the WPC board. I've tried swapping the RAM with known good tested chips and still get the same mixed up display. Looks like it is some sort of addressing issue either writing the image to the RAM or when pulling it out. Has anyone experienced a similar problem with either a Rottendog or genuine WPC DMD driver?

Interesting. It looks like the rows are being restarted perhaps three times.

I have a board here that does something similar but repeats and mixes up sections of columns. I have not figured out the cause yet.

Is it a Rottendog also?

Quoted from Brewchap:

Oops. Nope. But the RD board is a trace for trace copy of the OEM board except for the HV section.

The only change in logic is that the RD board substituted a few 74HCTxx parts in place of 74LSxx parts but that shouldn’t matter.
