Turn on the machine and every dot on the left half is on. Right half displays perfectly. It is not the driver board as I have tested the display on another machine. This is an older style DMD from 1993, is it fixable? It is a nice, bright display when it was working properly.

Completely lit up exactly on one half is a sign of being gassed out? That I did not figure on.

To answer your question, tried both ribbon cables.
