In the middle of a game and I think when everything goes dark and restarts are when the flippers are simultaneously pressed. Doesn't do it all the time. Just every so often. Checked all the connections in the back box. Seems to be solid. Ideas?

This. The Pinwiki disciplined approach is the best way.
My dm would restart often especially when I held both flippers . I sent my driver board away to rob Anthony and he rebuilt the bridge rectifier and capacitors, took care if the restart issue for me.
If its a new game I would follow the pinwiki steps in order for sure. If its a game youve had and have been playing for a while and this started happening randomly until it got worse and worse I would skip to these guys first on pinwiki.
4.8.9 Poor Connections between the Power/Driver board, the CPU, and other PCBs
4.8.10 Using a Multimeter to Test the Bridge Rectifier and Capacitors
I know they say not to shotgun br2 and c5 in the pinwiki but that turns out to be the problem a lot of the time.
J120, J121 connectors look fine. Noticed the ribbon leading from the CPU board to the top right (Fliptronics) board in box was a little loose, reseated it.
Fuses are ok (tested with MM)/
Turned the game on and hasnt happened yet. Will report back if I have any issues. Could have been that loose connection possibly. Been a good three hours and played a bunch of games. God this game is so underrated. So fun.
