Just got a credit dot last night during playing Demoman. Checked the test report.
All the switches in Column 4 of the Switch Matrix chart stopped working.
That's 41-48 which includes the left/right slingshots and the two pop bumpers, among others.
They do fire in solenoid test however.

What is the simplest way to test this? Is that a U20 IC CPU board issue? U20-Pin15 not getting to U207-4?
I have reseated all the connectors already..twice..no change...

Thanks in advance for any help!

Divide and conquer, test the switch lines at the board switch matrix connectors first - if it works there, the problem is on the playfield...if it doesn't, the problem is on the CPU board.

Pretty sure the problem is on the CPU board. I had started to socket the blown U20 chip and had a professional finish up the work. Game played fine for a week, then the entire Column 4, not Column 6 as I mentioned on the title (corrected). DOH!
Can I buzz U20-Pin 15 to U207 Pin4 to see if that run is broken somehow? Am I doing this right?

Follow good practice and use a diode to manually connect the pins on the molex first if it's failing there move up the chain.

If you mean J207 (not U207) then yes, you can test continuity from U20 Pin 15.

The buzz is intermittent. The bad news is I see battery corrosion on the pins on J207. Gonna clean them up first and see.

Replace J207 and the mating connector. There's no 'cleaning' that up, short of replacing!
