I've been playing around with making playfield plastics using water slide decals. I made a traffic light for my Taxi and a couple of blue plastics for my Millionaire. It's tedious, but if you need unobtainium it might be worth a shot.

I need to make the right sling plastic for my Mars Trek and I will probably try this rather then search for a single plastic
