Will the "Stern style kit" also work on a Bally board?

Is something like this needed for Gottlieb as well?

Nope. Gottlieb pins don't really suffer from ghosting/flickering issues--only Bally/Stern/Williams.

The only major thing that Gottlieb pins really suffer from are from poor grounding issues, which can be easily corrected.

Stern style will work with a Bally board. The only difference is the stern style uses taller connectors to clear a couple of mounting screws that are present on stern boards.
