Hi.
I would like to make my own modest backbox lighting kit for a Stern SAM pinball. I realize such kits are available for sale from mod houses, but I'm more keen on making my own. I would be oh-so grateful if you would review my parts list below and suggest how I might actually wire/power the sockets.
1. "Splitter" board to provide power:

2. "Insert panel" to hold the sockets behind the translite:

3. A fistful of wedge sockets:

(Note: these are "twist-in," but it's not clear to me how they affix themselves to the panel - or if they do at all!)
4. 6.3V wedge-base bulbs
I can install the sockets easily enough (I'm assuming), but what I'm not clear on is just how I would wire them. Can I "daisy chain" them and patch several to a single connector on the above auxiliary board? (Yeah, I'm a novice when it comes to electrical theory.) Just how many bulbs can be powered by a single 6.3V connector? Constant-on is fine; I don't need GI integration. When the game is turned on, the lighted panel should be on. Nothing fancy.
Thanks for reading my post and for any suggestions you might have!
