Just finished my MSF. Thinking about doing some others.

Quoted from Crash:A great Lord of the Rings color palette by softwaretroll! I will be using it in Frankenstein.

I started with this one. Saw it posted in this thread, so I thought it would be a good place to start. May try tweaking the colors to see what happens.
Quoted from Crash:Bumpuh-wump. Next in line: Frankenstein, Jurassic Park.
Have you had a chance to work on your Frank yet? Was just wondering what color palette you have tried or come up with.
Quoted from Bay78:My friend has the 17.3" screen. If you scroll up and look at the Frankenstein picture that says Free Play it shows the same thing I'm talking about. The original DMD doesn't have a space on top or bottom. Not the end of the world just wanted to see if there was anything you can do to adjust that, because my friend said he tried but couldn't.

Here are a couple screen shots after making an adjustment to the size. In the configure utility you have to add value to the borders. To get my screen to fit I had to add -90 to the top border. A positive number moves the image away from the edge. A negative number moves the image closer to the edge. It only enlarges the image where you add value. So, if you move the top closer it won't move the bottom away from the edge.
Quoted from Tekman:I understand that, I'm looking for a US supplier.
No U.S. supplier. I also used the links in this thread for my Frankenstein. Received all parts needed is less than 10 days. Did not have any issues with any of the suppliers listed here.
Quoted from DoctorPinball:Agree, this looks great. To get the image to fill the screen, especially to fill the top and bottom portions, set the Screen Border Top and Bottom to -40 : you may have to increase this to 45, 50 etc until it fills the window nicely.
I agree, looks great!
I changed the border settings on my MSF and it now fills the entire screen. Just make sure all settings are correct and add negative value to the border that needs adjustment.
Hey Crash, have you gotten around to doing your Frank yet? Just curious to see what you may have come up with on the color palette.
Quoted from Crash:Yeah I'm doing Baywatch first though as a location is asking for it. Palette wise softwaretroll's Lord of the Rings palette looks pretty good for this game.
That's the one I used. Was just curious if you had done yours yet, and what tweaks if any you had made. I adjusted the colors on mine some, would like to do a little more to it though.
Quoted from busa32927:set up is easy. i spent more time on getting the colors right. on my Frankenstein i had a yellow in there and i thought it looked great until the rain scene and the rain was yellow. i could only laugh at what i had done.
I'd be interested in seeing pics and color palettes others have come up with for Frankenstein.
